John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin Still Got It

I’ve been struggling all day to find the words to describe what I’m feeling. There has been unfathomable, devastating tragedy in Los Angeles this week. Today, January 9, I’m reminded more than ever how loss and grief can permeate through seemingly indestructible walls.
Today is the 3rd anniversary of Bob’s death. Today is also the 4th anniversary of my mom’s death. I’ve been deep in emotions today. Grief never gets easier. It just gets more familiar.
But there is one thing that is indestructible: love. A friend said, “Love is fireproof.” There is not a single tragedy, disaster, or loss that can take away the love.
Share the pictures. Talk about the memories. Keep that love flowing through your veins, into your heart, and out through your tear ducts. Feel it. Honor it.
Grief is just love with nowhere to go. So pour it into others.
I miss them so much. Today and every day. But especially today. Please be safe. And be kind to one another.
